CTRL+SHIFT+J hot key for Webex Teams Click to Call

Jabber utilized CTRL-SHIFT-J to initiate calling from any highlighted number in a browser or Microsoft Office application. Can you please add this shortcut to Webex Teams Calling, to invoke a call utilizing UCM calling, or other back-end calling platform as applicable?


This was useful when calling from websites, documents, even the directory if the Outlook integration is not possible due to other plugins.

    This option should be enhanced to also allow placing a call by highlighting a number + right clicking it + select "Call using Webex".

    Do you have visibility on this feature ?

    even with the Chrome extension, it is not possible to select a phone number (without link) and use a keyboard shortcut to call

    I don't know if this will help get what you want however, you can add the "Webex Call" extension in Chrome so that when you highlight a number and right click it, you can get the Webex app to place the call. It works the same as the "Call with Jabber" extension works.

    I can see this is set to Future Consideration. Do we have a tentative timeline/quarter for this feature?
